Christy-Gate: The Security Breach, Part II

As promised, Bongo is following up on the post about former HEA president Christy Henderson and her e-mails to her secret puppy-pal Larry Snow.

As you recall, Henderson said there were a few e-mails sent to a school board member from her e-mail account and she said she didn’t write them. But an investigation into the IP addresses proved that the e-mails sent to Snow on Oct. 29 came from the same computer that Henderson used to e-mail Dave Jenkins just a few days later.

For those humans who don’t know what an IP address is, it’s a paw print of sorts that belongs to a specific computer. Just like no two doggies have the same paw print, no two computers have the same IP address. So in CSI-Huntley style, it looks like Henderson, or a ghost living at her house, sent the e-mails to Snow from her home computer.

Today’s post will dig a bit deeper into “Christy-Gate.” Whereas the weekend post focused on the “liar, liar pants on fire,” aspect of the issue, today’s post will reveal a possible attempt by Henderson to pin the blame for the “security breach” on an HEA colleague, and when that didn’t work, a bizarre tale told by Henderson regarding someone coming in to her house and sending the e-mails while no one was home.

The image above includes a string of e-mails where the initial allegation is responded to and Henderson tries to blame one of her fellow HEA executive board members for accessing the president’s e-mail box without permission. Click on it to make it easier to read.

And who is the fellow executive board member that Henderson tried to blame for the breach? None other than Carol Skala, high school French teacher and former HEA secretary. It’s no secret that Henderson does not like Carol Skala very much. But trying to pin her own dirty deeds on Skala is worse than making a doggie mess on the carpet and then blaming the cat.

What is even more hilarious is that when it became clear that Skala had nothing to do with the e-mails that were sent to Larry Snow, Christy told an even taller tale. Thanks to some avid Bongo fans who supplied additional information that was not included in the report, it appears that when the Skala blame game failed, Henderson then tried to pin the blame on another person….. her neighbor.

Evidently, after first suggesting that Skala “hacked” into the HEA president’s mailbox, which was proven impossible since the computer used to send the e-mails was located in the Henderson house, Henderson actually looked some people in the eye and said her neighbor came into her house while no one was home, and while there the phone rang. Christy's account was that the neighbor answered the phone and it was Larry Snow who asked the neighbor to go to Christy’s computer and forward some messages to him. The neighbor did forward the messages but then never told Christy about it until after the report came out and after it was clear that Skala didn’t send the e-mails and after it was proven that they came from the Henderson home computer’s IP address.

Bongo’s question to Henderson, who apparently is still sticking to this version of her story is this: Are you kidding me? Are people actually supposed to believe that no one was home, but your neighbor came in, answered your phone for you and then went to your computer, logged in as you, and then sent e-mails to Larry Snow and then forgot to tell you about it until after it was proven that Skala couldn’t have done it and after it was proven that the e-mails were sent from the Henderson home computer?

Bongo’s belly hurts, he’s laughing so hard!

Tune in soon for the conclusion of this series when Bongo blows the lid off of an attempt by the co-presidents to bury the report deeper than a prized bone, rather than show it to the HEA membership.
