Bongo has heard through the doggie grapevine that Larry Snow’s attorney did not provide proof of insurance for Snow at his mandatory court hearing yesterday.
The attorney did, however, get a continuance until April 28th, which just happens to be three weeks after the school board election.
How convenient.
Bongo has some questions for which the taxpayers deserve answers:
If Snow really did have car insurance and simply didn’t have the card with him on the day of his accident, why didn’t he just say so when he was interviewed by the Northwest Herald and the Daily Herald about the accident?
If Snow really did have car insurance, why hasn’t he sent someone to the courthouse to show proof of insurance on the accident date, so that the issue could be resolved?
If Snow really did have car insurance, why didn’t he send proof of insurance with the attorney he was paying to represent him in court yesterday?
If you were a candidate running for office and there was an accusation out there that you broke the law by driving an uninsured vehicle, wouldn’t you want to set the record straight as soon as possible?
Thanks to Snow and his slick attorney, the complete truth regarding his insurance status on the date of his car accident won’t be known until after the election. Again, how convenient.
Looks like "Mr. Transparency" does not practice what he preaches.
