Where's Waldo? Oops, I Mean Mark Altmayer?

Where’s Waldo? Or should Bongo say “Where’s Mark Altmayer?”

According to Aileen Seedorf, on the night when his hiring was made official he was sitting in the audience.

During the vote, Seedorf made reference to Altmayer, who she said was sitting in the audience. Wrong-O.

Altmayer was not present at the meeting, and immediately following Seedorf’s comment humans could see the puzzled looks on the other board members’ faces. President Green went on to clarify by saying, “For the Record, Mr. Altmayer is not present in the audience.”

Golly. Seedorf was so firm in her conviction that Altmayer was the wrong guy for the job. After all, she had interviewed him at least twice and obviously had spent a decent amount of time with the guy. And its not as if there were scores of candidates paraded in front of the board for that job.

Is it possible that she didn’t even bother to look at him during the interviews? By the reaction of the other board members, there weren’t many people in the audience, so it would seem that it would have been easy to notice whether or not the #1 candidate for the head finance position was sitting there or not.

Bongo thinks that when she runs for reelection, in addition to “Independent Thinker,” Seedorf should add “Perceptive Board Member” to her resume.
