Let the Race Begin!

Well, the filing period has closed and we now know who is running for the school board.

Larry “they begged me to run” Snow evidently couldn’t find any candidates to run alongside him this time. He couldn’t even get Linda Moore to run this time.

This barks volumes about the (dwindling) support the boy who cried wolf (or should Bongo say the boy who cried “fraud!”)

Hmmm. Trouble raising money this time… Inability to find candidates to run on his platform of “divide and disrupt.”

Could the era of Larry Snow finally be coming to an end? Well, that will be up to the voters to decide.

Voters on April 7 will elect one person to fill a two-year seat. So far, their choices are:

Larry Snow
Paul Troy
Mike Skala

…all three also filed for the four-year seats, so they will have to drop out of one of the races since they can’t run for two seats on the same board. They have one week to decide which race they will drop out of.

Voters on April 7 will also elect four people to fill four-year spots on the board. As of today, those running for four-year seats are:

Larry Snow
Kim Skaja
Paul Troy
Shawn Green
Don Drzal
Mike Skala
Rob LaPorta

Again, this ballot will probably change since Snow, Troy, and Skala are on both ballots right now.

Here is the story from today's Northwest Herald.
