Bongo has to give a very enthusiastic four paws up today to District 158 resident Mike Luecht. Do you remember him? He’s the pup who placed the full-page color ad in the Northwest Herald several months ago in which he denounced Larry Snow and his divisive and destructive tactics on the D 158 Board of Education. The well written ad was a punch in the gut to Snow, who was called out for making a mockery out of the District by routinely taking cheap shots at other board members and at administrators.
This week, Luecht and two of his friends are in the news as the incredibly generous donors who have created the MCC Promise Fund, a scholarship available to high school seniors living within the boundaries of the McHenry County College District.
