Hot diggity dog! Bongo’s tail won’t stop wagging today! You see, Bongo just saw the ACT results, which jumped almost a full point over last year’s scores! While a point doesn't sound like a lot, in ACT lingo, its substantial!
Way to go District 158 teachers! You’re producing some pretty smart pups at Huntley High School!
Huntley’s students improved in every area, which is quite an accomplishment. In addition, the students outpaced state average increases in all subject areas and exceeded state averages in all areas other than math, where they tied the state average. Science scores increased the most, followed by English.
Bongo hopes this is a trend that keeps going every year, and that next year those math scores exceed the state average!
A very enthusiastic four paws up to the teachers and to the graduating class of 2008. Well Done!!!!!

Hmmm... Scores went up about 5% so did teacher salaries. Seems fair to me! Too bad these results didn't come a month sooner. maybe more people would have supported the teachers. Maybe the board would have considered their "performance" a little more fairly.
