No Deal Yet; Meetings to Continue Today

Bongo hears that negotiations went pretty well on Friday, but there's still no deal.

Here's what the Northwest Herald had to say about it:

Teachers union representatives and District 158 school board members planned to meet again this morning after more than seven hours of negotiations Friday night failed to bring about a new contract agreement.

The sides met from 5 p.m. Friday until 12:40 a.m. today. They plan to reconvene at 11 a.m.

Meanwhile, one of the Big Dogs at the Northwest Herald had this to say in his Saturday editorial.

Stay tuned, because this one looks like its going to come down to the wire.

Bongo has high hopes that a deal can be reached by Sunday evening.
