New D 158 Press Release Outlines Concessions Made by the BOE in Negotiations

Click on the image above to read this press release, which was issued just after the automated phone call was made to residents at 6:00 tonight. It looks like the BOE has made a significant number of concessions regarding negotiations.

Remember how the teachers said they wouldn't go on strike as long as the board was willing to negotiate? The five bullet points listed in the image above shows significant movement on the board's part on issues that the HEA said were important.

As far as Bongo is concerned, if the teachers strike tomorrow, it is not because the BOE didn't do absolutely everything in its power to prevent it.
