Bongo appreciates all of the kind feedback he received when he tooted the horns of the band and football team the other day. It appears that Bongo's loyal readers agree that Huntley High School is definitely becoming a respectable force in the Fox Vally Conference!
It seems like every time Bongo opens the sports page, he gets to read more about the successes of Huntley athletes! The golf team is doing great! Soccer, tennis and football players are producing impressive win-loss records, the cross country teams are making quite a statement at their meets, and those volleyball gals? Well Bongo really "digs" them! They're doing great too!
Bongo even heard from a hockey mom who has a pup who plays on the Huntley Hockey Club Team! While not sanctioned through Huntley High School, the team is made up of mostly HHS students, and they are UNDEFEATED so far this season! Way to go hockey team!
For those whose interests lean more toward the fine arts, mark your calendars now for the Freshman-Sophomore musical "Annie," which will hit the stage at the Huntley High School Performing Arts Center Oct. 2, 3 and 4 at 7:00 pm and on Oct. 5 at 3:00 pm. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students and seniors. It looks like it will be a great show, and wait until you her these kids SING!
