Bongo usually doesn't put much stock in the McHenry County Blog. But this morning, the blog took aim at Heineman Middle School Teacher Mark Stahl, who is evidently calling the shots for the HEA. You can read the Stahl post here. "Dripping with sarcasm and bashing the Huntley school board?" Sounds exactly like the kind of presentation Stahl would give. Come on Bongo fans, let's hear your Stahl stories. From what Bongo hears, when people list the best and brightest from D 158, Stahl's name is NOT on that list!
Remember, he's the guy who took most of the 4th quarter off this year after his wife had a healthy baby. The students were left in the hands of a substitute teacher to finish preparing for 8th grade, yet Stahl did mangage to attend all of his union meetings. The contract provision which allowed Stahl to do that, by the way, is still included in the new proposal by the board. It's a pretty sweet benefit if you ask me!
