Negotiation Songs, Part II

Yo! Yo! Hey, dogs! Banjo Seacrest here with a quick look at some of the song titles that were sent in after the "Union Negotiations Songs" post the other day. Here they are, in no particular order:

"All I need is a Miracle" by Mike and the Mechanics (its beginning to look like we'll need a miracle if a settlement will be reached soon)

"Right and Wrong" by Joe Jackson (offering a contract that doesn't include deficit spending is "right," and demanding raises that will require a new referendum is "wrong")

"Hard to Handle" by The Black Crows (Union leaders who make the 99% of the good teachers out there look really bad is hard to handle)

"Abracadabra" by the Steve Miller Band (do the union leaders think the district can magically pull money out of a hat?)

"Alone" by Heart (how the negotiation team must be feeling in the community)

"Real World" by Matchbox 20 (people who live in the real world would not suggest a 35% increase in compensation during very tough economic times)

"Busted" by Matchbox 20 (Bongo's on to you, Christy)

"Could've Been" by Tiffany (... a rather a painless process and easy to work through, but noooooooooooooooooo)

"Take The Money and Run" by The Steve Miller Band (greed by the negotiation team makes it look like all the teachers want to do is take the money and run)

"Enjoy the Silence" by Depeche Mode (the message the negotiating team is sending to the community by refusing to put out press releases they agreed to do)

"Beyond Belief" by Elvis Costello (the general consensus in the community with regard to what the negotiation team had the audacity to ask for)

"What’s so Funny ‘Bout Peace, Love and Understanding" by Elvis Costello (remember the good 'ol days when negotiations were amicable and respectful?)

"Foolish Beat" by Debbie Gibson (check the HEA proposal, and tell me it's not foolish to ask for all that!)

"I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" by U2 (the ever-elusive common ground that does not appear to exist)
