Rock of Ages

Yo! Yo! What Up Dawg! (Bongo’s impression of Randy Jackson from American Idol) I was doing a bit of research into the history of music and discovered some interesting fun facts that show the effect that the Snow / Seedorf combination has had on music throughout the years.

Song titles that could have been inspired by Aileen Seedorf:

“True Colors” by Cindi Lauper (what we’ve all seen since she got elected)
“Under Pressure” by Queen, featuring David Bowie (…under pressure to second all of Larry’s motions since he paid for her campaign!)
“Our Lips Are Sealed” by the Go-Go’s (whenever she and Larry keep information to themselves so they can stage an event meant to embarrass people at board meetings)
“I Am Woman” by Helen Reddy (remember all the male-bashing she did while campaigning with Linda Moore as “Women For District 158?”)
“Independent Woman” by Desiny’s Child (Lie #1 during the Seedorf for school board campaign?)
“Too Much Time On My Hands” by Styx (can anyone say “get a hobby?”)
“We’re Not Going To Take It” by Twisted Sister (as in she and Larry are not going to take the professional auditors’ word for it that there was no fraud)
“We Belong Together” by Mariah Carey (Snow + Seedorf = Snowdorf)
“I Get Knocked Down” by Chumbawumba (whenever she tries in vain to propose an amendment to a motion since she doesn’t know how to word it)
“Not Ready To Make Nice” by the Dixie Chicks (“nice” is not in her bag of tricks)
“Girls Just Want To Have Fun” by Cindi Lauper (for when she and Linda Moore go out partying after school board meetings)
“Jump” by Van Halen (…unless your track program, which includes high jumping, has just been cut because you didn’t want to spend $1,600 on a coach)
“Bad Blood” by Neil Sedaka (remember when she tried to ban blood drives at the high school?)
“Puppet on a String” by Elvis (no explanation needed)

Feel free to E-mail Bongo with more song titles! This could be fun! Bongo will list Snow titles soon.
