Bongo was also observing the conduct of board member Aileen Seedorf at the January 24board meeting. Bongo saw Mrs. Seedorf sticking up for her friends at the expense of the taxpayers. Naughty, naughty.
Mr. Snow was not the only board member who tried to amend the resolution before its approval. In a move that had Bongo rolling in the isles, Aileen Seedorf proposed an amendment that would remove the paragraphs about her friend and political running mate Linda Moore and her family from the resolution. Apparently sloppy bookkeeping and bad management practices are only problematic when they benefit people who aren't Mrs. Seedorf's friends, who interestingly have been living rent and tax free on school district property and in violation of an existing legal contract since as far back as 1995.
The resolution to close the forensic audit and other related internal investigations included the nasty little secret regarding a contract that was not being adhered to between the district and Linda Moore's dad. This “noxious weed agreement” states in legal terms that the individual who sold the land to the district (Moore’s dad) will pay District 158 a certain amount of money per tillable acre of land. To date, those payments, totaling more than $34,000, have not been made. In addition, the Moore family has been living in a house on the property now owned by District 158 and have not paid a dime in rent or in taxes ever.
Note to Seedorf: Try to be a bit more subtle with the favoritism you show when it comes to your political running mate and her families’ financial obligations to the district. Every dollar the district does not receive from this legal contract is another dollar that the taxpayers have to cough up. But then again, you and Linda are “Women for District 158,” aren’t you.

Come on Bongo! Don't you think you are being a liitle rough on Seedorf. We are all entitled to have a friend?
Being a K-9, you should understand best of all that dogs tend to be loyal to those who beat them down. Let's see if she remembers not to bite the hand(s) that feed her...
