NW Herald Editorial Suggests Teachers Union "Pay Attention to the News"

Everyone is still hopeful that an amicable contract agreement can be reached before school starts on August 25. But Bongo agrees with the NW Herald Big Dogs, and recommends that the union negotiating team take a look at the economic world around them right now.

In fact, Bongo would ask that each of these negotiators try count the number of humans they know who are either out of work right now or are really struggling to make ends meet because of soaring gas and food prices.

Then Bongo recommends that this group of union negotiators thank their lucky stars they have a job and a guaranteed raise offer for the next four years.

Perhaps there are some unemployed, qualified teachers out there who are not so greedy. They may even understand basic economics and the way the rest of the world has to operate.
